Puppy Kindergarten is an introduction to our Basic Obedience Course. It is designed to enrich the relationship between pet and owner through 3 private lessons with our trainer. Under the trainer's instruction you will introduce the basic skills such as leash walking, sit, down, stay, and fun recall game. You will also receive tips on common puppy issues such as housebreaking, puppy biting, etc. All lessons must be taken in a 3-week period to achieve the best results. Age range of puppies attending class is from 9 to 16 weeks of age. All puppies must have current vaccination record from their veterinarian. 

 

In Kennel Basic Obedience (first package) A beginning obedience course customized to fit each dog's personality and needs. Dog is accommodated in-kennel at Canine Solutions for two weeks of one-on-one, on-leash professional instruction. During residency, dog learns basic commands including heel, sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, and an introduction to recall. Three follow-up lessons for the owner complete this fundamental course. Dogs must be 16 weeks or older with current vaccinations

 

In Kennel Basic Obedience (second package) is another 2 week course with 3 follow up lessons. All commands are still taught on leash. Commands are heel, sit, sit - stay, down, down - stay, & leash length recall. The difference in this package is that it includes basic house manners when it comes to furniture and crate training.

In Kennel Basic Obedience (third package) - This is a 3 week course with 3 follow up lessons. All commands are still taught on leash. The commands are heel, sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, & leash length recall. It included the basic house manners with it comes to furniture and crate training. This package differs because it includes sitting at doors, long downs, socialization, and meet and greet. 

 

Age requirement for Basic Obedience is 4 months old and must be completed before Advanced can begin.

In Kennel Advanced Obedience - This is a 2 week course which is the same as our Basic In Kennel Obedience except all if it is done off leash. Your dog must be at least a year old and have completed the on leash course first.

Private Basic Obedience - In this you will learn the same commands as the Basic Obedience in kennel course. These are 30- minute lessons and are once a week for 5 weeks. You will come with the dog and the owner does the training under the trainer's instruction. This is an on leash course only.
